Our story started back in 2008 when we first decided to go to bulgaria and have a look around with the view to buy a property for a holiday home and then relocate in a few years. We engaged an agent and to say they just wernt interested was an understatment we wanted rural with land they just wanted to sell us an apartment in sunny beach.we had one day out with these agents and that was it we never saw them again and to be honest we didnt want to.
     When we got back to the uk we looked at 100s of houses on the net and stumbled across bgdreamhomes, i liked the look of the houses they had on their site and emailed for some details giving the agent (stan)all the details of property we were interested in. We then kept in touch with stan over the next 9 months and any questions we had then stan answered for us. After deciding we would go back to bulgaria in may 2009 stan made all the arrangements ie, pick up from the airport with a lovely man called michel, hotel booking etc.
     On arrival at our hotel in yambol stan and his lovely wife diane met us and helped us book in and arranged to meet us back in the bar when we had freshened up, what a start to a fantastic week that was, after taking us out for a meal and sitting talking most of the evening they then arranged to pick us up the next day to view some houses in the area we had specified.
     The house viewing went really well with stan and diane not just showing us houses but also telling us information on all the areas we visited.we found a house we really liked so at the end of our long day we went back to our hotel where stan and diane left us with some time to ourselves so we could digest all the information of the day.The following day stan and diane arrived at our hotel with the question" do you want to go back to see any of the houses we looked at yesterday or do you want to see some more"we had already decided which house we wanted so they took us back to the house, where we spent most of the day just disscussing renovations.That evening we went out again to celebrate and discuss what would happen the next day with all the legal details. One of the things we liked about bgdreamhomes is the price you see is the price you pay as it includes all the legal costs.
     The next day was all dedicated to legal paperwork, which stan and diane were with us every step of the way and explained everything that is going on,after which we spent another lovely evening out
     The rest of the week passed with stan and diane taking us back to our house, going around the our village (the pub) and showing us around local diy and furniture stores and in the evening taking us to secret little restarants in Yambol.
     On our arrival back in the uk stan took over all the renovation details for our house arranging builders, window fitters and payments to our specifications.
     The service we have had and are still getting from Stan, Diane and their company bgdreamhome has been second to none and we cant rate them highly enough.

     After falling in love with the country we decided to buy a property this year and realised that we would need help with the practicalities. After researching on the internet and E-mailing several agents,and believe me there are hundreds,we decided to use bgdreamhome.com.The reason we chose bgdreamhome was because of the knowledgeable but friendly way their E-mails came across.
     We went out to Bulgaria and the owners Stan and Diana, who are a husband and wife team from Bulgaria with excellent English had arranged for us to see all the properties we had asked to see.They collected us from our accomodation and and escorted us to all the viewings also suggesting other similar properties.
     It was when we found the property we wanted that we realised what an excellent choice we had made. Their help in all legal matters--- and this involves opening Bank Accounts and a company, negotiating a price ,translation and purchase of the property was invaluable.They worked tirelessly to make the whole process stress free for us and for that we are very grateful.
     The story dosen't end there as we needed some renovation work,they introduced us to a builder who gave us a quote for the work which we accepted before we returned to the UK.
Since we came home we have had regular E-mails with photos showing the progress of the building work and feel safe in the knowledge that our property is being looked after until we return to Bulgaria.
     We have spoken to people who have had bad experiences when buying in Bulgaria and we feel so lucky we made the right choice and used bgdreamhome.

     We have been involved with Stan and Diana from BGDreamhome for just over one year. On our first trip to Bulgaria in July 2007 we had arranged to meet two separate companies selling property one in the Varna area and Bgdream home in the Yambol area of Bulgaria. We spent the first two days looking around the Varna area with a company that was based in Britain. We were drove from place to place and started to get a feel for the country which we liked and the locals were very nice and friendly. But we found it very hard to get information on the areas that we were being shown by the agents so found this a bit off putting. On our third day we arranged for a hire car and off we set to Yambol and what fun was that not reading or speaking Bulgarian but we got there and was met on the outskirts of the city as arranged where we were shown to our hotel. After we got cleaned up we met in the bar for a drink were we got to know each other a bit and they talked through the area and the are as that we were going to look so we had some local Knowledge and things to think about before we started to look around. After spending the rest of the day looking at properties for sale we had not found any that we liked that much, But we had found a nice plot of land with nice views. That night we all went out for a very nice meal and met another couple Eric and Erica who were also looking for property, And after the meal and a few drinks of course we walked Back to our hotel and we both felt very comfortable being with Stan&Diana and felt that we could trust them and would like to keep working with them. After our two days in Yambol it was time for the drive back leaving Stan & Diana looking into the size of the land and what the purchase price would be.
     ON our trip back we had time to talk about what we would really like and decided that we would like to build our own place. And that we would like a large plot of land.

     After we had got back home and talked about what we would like we let Stan&Diana know just what we were looking for. After about two weeks Stan came up trumps with a a couple of plots of land that sounded just like what we were after. After we had said that we were interested in the plots Stan and Diana drove to the land and did a video clip of the land for us to watch, And after viewing the video we both agreed that the view was what we wanted even though we would have liked a larger plot we went ahead and purchased the 2 plots. Further to the 2 plots that we had just agreed to purchase Stan&Diana found another 3 plots adjoining ours and we purchased those as well.

     That’s the story so far with more to come in the near future, And we are so glad that we have met Stan, Diana and the rest of their family Chris, Alex and Jess.

     What can we say about these guys that hasn’t already been said? Like most people we hoped not to get ripped off by some dodgy agent and luckily for us we found Stan and Diana, what a great first introduction to the Bulgarian people.  We found their approach to business throughout the process of buying our BG dream home to be professional, honest, reliable and friendly. They acted as our project managers whilst our renovation work was ongoing and kept in touch throughout, sending pictures of the work in progress. Once the sale was complete we were not left to cope on our own, their after sales service was super.
